B&Js New Channel & Horizon 3 Assistant Innovation Manager

Job Purpose:
The primary role of the New Channel & Horizon 3 Innovation Manager is to develop channel specific innovation solutions & future capabilities to accelerate the incremental growth coming from our innovation agenda.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead our new channel innovation strategy – especially focusing on dComm, QSR & the discounter channel and defining channel relevant innovation solutions to maximise this growth opportunity.
2. Form close working relationships with the dComm and CSP teams as well as local NRM and marketing teams to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
3. Focus on the 3-5 year innovation horizon, looking to unlock new capabilities needed to deliver more ambitious and pioneering innovation projects of the future.
4. Build a strong global cross-functional network and set up effective ways of working to get ahead with more ambitious and technologically pioneering innovation projects.
5. Support decisions and strategies with data by leading research plans & analysis in partnership with our CMI team.
6. Contribute to the development of the global innovation programme to support the company’s strategic growth goals.
7. Lead the innovation process specific to new channels partnering closely with the EUANZ & US Innovation Managers.
8. Support the global markets with customer and internal sell-ins, marketing and media briefing, and post-launch support for all new channel innovation platforms.
9. Exhibit commitment to the company’s social mission and Marketing's vital role in delivering all three elements of Ben & Jerry's three-part mission statement.
All About You:
1. Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA a plus.
2. Relevant years experience as a Brand/Product Marketing Manager in a consumer packaged goods company.
3. Successfully execute plans and projects within a matrix organization structure.
4. Proven ability to create and promote new ideas and concepts.
5. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
6. Proven work experience with a values-led business or demonstrated commitment to social and economic justice agendas.
7. Able to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders representing a broad range of functions and levels.
8. Ability to communicate across different stakeholder groups to influence decision-making.
9. Proficient in computer applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
