Position Overview
Join Oasis Academy Wattville as our new Assistant Principal and be part of an exhilarating journey! With our recent integration into Oasis Community Learning Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), this is a thrilling time to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities
As a dedicated Assistant Principal, your focus will be on raising standards across EYFS, nursery, and KS1. As a key member of our academy leadership team, you will drive improvements in pupil progress and teaching and learning within this area of the school. You will:
1. Identify and implement actions to raise standards for all pupils.
2. Shape the future of our vibrant school community.
3. Collaborate with a network of passionate educators.
4. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted actions.
5. Foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for someone who is strategic and data-literate, kind, approachable, and collaborative. The ideal candidate will:
1. Build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
2. Inspire and support others while maintaining high expectations.
3. Have an understanding of EYFS and KS1.
4. Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
5. Manage leadership duties alongside classroom responsibilities.
