Location: Slough Salary: £85 - £140 per day Contract: Full-time, Long-term Start Date: ASAP GSL Education is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to support students in secondary schools across Slough. This role is ideal for someone with experience in behaviour support, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), and mentoring young people who face barriers to learning. The Role: Work 1:1 and in small groups to support students with behavioural, emotional, and social challenges. Implement strategies to de-escalate challenging behaviour and promote positive engagement. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support individual student needs. Provide mentoring and build trust-based relationships to encourage personal and academic development. Support students with emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and classroom participation. Requirements: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, SEMH, or SEN. Strong behaviour management skills and ability to implement de-escalation techniques. A positive and resilient approach to supporting young people. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply). Right to work in the UK.
