Elementa Support Services is proud to partner with a reputable school located in Southville, Bristol, as they seek an exceptional Primary Teacher for Year 5. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator dedicated to inspiring young learners and contributing to their academic journey. The role is to start after the half-term break and will likely continue until the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality teaching to Year 5 students, ensuring that the curriculum is effectively implemented and tailored to meet the needs of all learners. You will foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment in which every student feels valued and motivated to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
* Support the academic and personal development of each student.
* Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline within the classroom.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
* Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5.
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their potential.
* Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Contract & Recruitment Information
