This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of our fast-moving, creative, and innovative team as we are looking for our next Key Account Manager Flavors.
You will be responsible for managing and growing New and Existing important Regional and Local Flavour accounts, while collaborating with our Ingredients account managers to maximize the opportunity to sell all our product lines.
As a member of the Northern Europe Team, you will manage selling to these accounts effectively to ensure business growth. You will work closely with teams in Taste Creation & Design, Marketing, Sensory, Supply Chain, and Operations throughout Europe.
Managing Existing Business
* Manage and develop excellent customer relationships.
* Achieve profitable sales growth together with the customer.
* Optimize supply chain by providing accurate sales forecasts and streamlining order patterns.
* Cooperate with Operations to manage order-related customer inquiries.
* Responsible for a healthy pricing strategy and contract negotiations.
* Work closely with IFF global procurement to share insights on raw materials.
* Accountable for all communications with the customer, ensuring timely delivery of orders and documents related to legal and quality issues.
* Ensure that IFF is recognized as the key partner to our customers for long-term growth.
Developing New Business
* Follow market movements and translate them into new business opportunities.
* Initiate customer activities such as creative workshops and trend sessions.
* Create and develop joint value creation for customers and IFF.
* Build and manage relationships between different functions at the customer and with IFF.
* Achieve agreed growth targets through winning new business.
* Build core teams including Commercial, Technical, and Marketing functions to support your accounts.
* Manage new opportunities and projects, entering them into the IFF project systems.
* Monitor project progress and manage relationships within IFF with Creation, Design, and other teams.
* Responsible for your total project pipeline to accelerate growth.
* Develop account business development plans with your teams.
Required Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Food Technology, or similar.
* Strategic thinker with precise execution.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Open personality with a flexible approach.
* Passionate, persistent, and a good listener.
* Ability to translate customer needs into value-adding solutions.
* Result-driven with a focus on short-term and long-term goals.

* Excellent computer skills (MS Office) and ability to manage internal business tools.
Required Experience
* Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Business-to-Business Sales Management function, preferably within the food ingredients industry.
* Relevant work experience in taste design, flavors, and the food industry.
Additional Information
* The position is home-based, working on a hybrid basis from IFF Haverhill.
* Up to approx. 50% travel required, mostly within the UK and across IFF’s North Europe Sub-Region.
