Valleys Finance Ltd is an FCA regulated, long-established business, serving communities across South Wales, the Southwest of England, West Midlands, Manchester, and Merseyside. We specialise in Home Collected Credit, providing short term, cash loans to the sub-prime sector.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer and working closely with the Senior Management Team, the Regional Operations Manager is key to assisting Valley Finance LTD in achieving its company objectives through delivery of commercials, strategic and operational plans.
As one of our Operations Managers you will be the heart of operations in your region and will play a leading role in implementing company initiatives. You will be responsible for influencing and managing your team, providing direction and guidance and will therefore display strong leadership skills, allowing you to develop the knowledge and ability of your team to meet their personal and company goals.
You will act responsibly in embedding and supporting the company culture of doing the right thing and will be key to driving and continually improving operational standards & effectiveness by ensuring that all employees are working to the policies & processes implemented by the business – providing recommendations on possible improvements where identified.
Role Overview:
Manage a Team of District Managers and their wider teams to deliver an exceptional performance and share best practice across your region.
* Set agreed Monthly Targets and monitor via KPI’s and report analysis.
* Provide insight and support to District Managers to ensure the appropriate level of resource is in place to meet Branch and Regional objectives.
* Oversee recruitment and ongoing people and performance management within the region, ensuring each team member is driven and focussed.
* Contribute fully to wider Company issues.
What you’ll need:
* A proven ability to deliver results.
* Previous experience in managing customer facing teams.
* To be comfortable in deep diving into numbers to build analytical, data driven insight to support decision making and targets.
* The ability to deliver great results within set commercial limits.
* A passion for going above and beyond in supporting your team and providing exceptional levels of customer service – with the ability to embed this within the culture of the team.
* The ability to take ownership and drive improvements across your region.
* The ability to support and influence other Senior Managers within the business.
* An awareness of and appreciation for the FCA and Regulatory updates for the sector.

Pay: £46,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
