Job Title: Aftercare Manager

Salary: £40,000- £50,000 + Company Van
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an Aftercare Manager on behalf of a Tier 1 Contractor based in Edinburgh. This is a customer-facing role focused on managing snagging and remedial works across multiple sites. The successful candidate will have a strong trades background, combined with exceptional communication and leadership skills, enabling them to effectively engage with clients and oversee the delivery of high-quality aftercare services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any aftercare issues and delivering outstanding customer service.
2. Snagging & Remedial Works: Identify and manage necessary repairs and improvements to buildings, working closely with the in-house trades team to ensure the work is carried out effectively and to a high standard.
3. Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the trades team, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed timeframes and to the highest quality.
4. Site Visits: Regularly visit the Port Hamilton site, as well as other sites across Scotland, to monitor progress and manage aftercare activities.
5. Hands-On Support: While primarily a management role, you may occasionally be required to assist with minor repairs. A van equipped with tools will be provided for such tasks.
Candidate Profile:
1. Trades Experience: A solid background in a trade such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or general building is essential.
2. Management Skills: Experience in managing teams and overseeing aftercare processes, with a focus on organisation, leadership, and problem-solving.
3. Client-Facing Experience: Comfortable and professional when interacting with clients to ensure their needs are met.
4. Proactive Problem Solver: Able to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
5. Flexible: Willing to travel to various sites across Scotland as required.
6. Driving License: A full UK driving license is essential.
