We are looking for a Senior Manager - Acquisition and Partnerships to join our team. This hybrid role offers flexibility to be based in either Bradford or Leeds. You will be expected to work in the office at least two days a week.
As a Senior Manager of Acquisitions and Partnerships, you will evaluate a wide range of M&A, partnership, and growth opportunities that will expand our external service and product offerings, delivering exceptional value to our customers. Reporting to the VP of Transformation, you will lead efforts to validate and recommend partnerships and growth opportunities. Collaborating with the BBS Leadership team, you will define the strategy for partnerships, M&A, and inorganic growth. Your responsibilities will include market assessment, understanding customer and market demand, and prioritising partnerships that align with our growth strategy, enhance customer acquisition, extend existing customer value, and ensure high-quality customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams within the Blume organisation, including M&A, Strategy, and Finance, to gather information on target companies and identify and build partnerships that meet customer requirements. Additionally, you will oversee the onboarding of successful partnerships into BBS, measure and analyse deal performance, and adjust the BD roadmap based on the needs of Operations, Tech, and BBS Leadership.
What will you be doing?
* Conduct market research, user studies, and competitor analysis to identify market needs and product opportunities. Assess consumption trends, usability, model volumes, and potential restrictions or exceptions.
* Understand existing and prospective customer requirements within our delivery pillars and identify opportunities for market penetration.
* Identify market trends among competitors and providers across the service.
* Develop and maintain the M&A/Partnership roadmap in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data, technology, design, marketing, sales, commercial, and operations, to define product requirements and specifications, and prioritize opportunities and targets that align with these requirements.
* Analyse and assess targets to ensure alignment with the overall strategy and roadmap, including gathering relevant information internally and externally, conducting internal due diligence, and creating business cases for internal reviews and approvals.
* Keep Blume management updated on the latest acquisition and partnership landscape and deal statuses, preparing management review decks and leading briefings regularly.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the relevant product space.
