Summary:
To provide a quality out of hours administrative and telephony service for all GP claims, including:
* Answering calls and dealing with confidential enquiries
* Accurate data input
* Ability to use own initiative
Key Responsibilities:
* Receives new claims instructions and accurately inputs information onto the appropriate systems.
* Triages calls to ascertain the exact nature and extent of the loss, and where applicable deploys inter Company cross referrals.
* Appoints Adjuster to visit customer by use of internal systems, and upwards referral where required.
* Provides advice, updates and assistance to all parties and where appropriate appoint emergency contractors.
* Ensures Key Performance Indicators and Service Level agreements are met.
* Works as an effective team member and operates effective handovers to colleagues where necessary.
* Accurately inputs all required data, such as instructions from the Insurance Company and associated Claim Information.
* Actively seeks to develop oneself and takes personal responsibility for training and development.
Job Scope:
The role is based in Glasgow within the Claims Alert Business Unit and operates within an out of hours operation supporting 24/7 cover throughout the year.
