The EPR Team and Education teams are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join us and play a vital role in the training of staff to enable a successful implementation of our new Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium EPR on a shared domain with Barts Health.
To make implementation and adoption of our new EPR a success, it is vital that our staff are fully trained and confident in using the new systems, and the role of the EPR Trainer is key to this success.
Our EPR Trainers will provide face-to-face and virtual training to a range of trust staff, reviewing and updating lesson plans and resources, and keeping accurate records to ensure delivery of our training plan is a success.
We are looking for individuals with experience of training or mentoring in the workplace and a good understanding of NHS workflows, who are passionate about supporting our staff through this exciting time.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver training as identified within the EPR programme.
* Provide face-to-face training in the classroom, virtual training via MS Teams and any other designated area/method in accordance with the training schedule using the training resources available.
* Occasionally demonstrate workflows at any Divisional/Department meetings for all Trust staff.
* Ensure user guides are updated with Trust information and logos.
* Ensure that any training material required to support training is compiled in accordance with departmental process, which may include eLearning, training videos, lesson plans, worksheets, and handouts.
* Review and update lesson plans, worksheets, and other resources to support delivery of training where required (i.e. handouts, QRGs).
* Ensure that any training material used is kept up to date and relevant.
* Keep accurate records of all staff trained in line with current practice within the EPR Training Team.
* Undertake the relevant preparation for each training session you are taking including post and pre-course set-up as indicated on the lesson plans for each application taught.
* Undertake post-course administration in accordance with the departmental process using BEST (BHRUT’s in-House Learning Management System) to record classroom and virtual session outcomes.
