NES Fircroft are recruiting a Temporary Installation Co-ordinator to be based at the Wilton site, Redcar. Our client is a leader in the decarbonisation of the flight industry working with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This is a contract opportunity.
The Role:
This position serves as the central point of communication and coordination between various stakeholders including operations, project management, and external contractors.
Responsibilities:
1. Equipment deliveries:
o Oversee equipment deliveries
o Checking off deliveries against Pos
o Sorting equipment/parts into work packs
o Flagging missing parts/additional required parts
2. Work flow management:
o Planning work packs versus schedule (critical path)
o Liaising with operations for PTW
o Producing daily/weekly look ahead with the relevant Project Manager
3. Contractor management:
o Manage resource on a day-to-day basis to optimise work face availability and schedule
o First point of contact for contractor groups
o Manage any welfare issues and flag any safety concerns to the HSE Manager
4. Installation:
o Working with contractors and project team in the lead role to sign off work packs
o Punch lists
o Line walkdowns and systems handover to Operations
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* 5 years’ experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry in an engineering, shutdown, or construction role and environment
* Safety passport holder (CCNSG or similar)
* Experience in multi-discipline management for construction and installation
* Must be able to read and interpret P&IDs
* Familiar with PTW system (ideally previously a permit acceptor)
* Past experience with equipment procurement processes
* Well-developed communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders through a variety of communication channels.
* A proven track record of delivering on time, with experience of working across organisational boundaries to deliver projects and objectives.
* The ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanour in high-stress environments.
