We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join a rapidly growing business in Newmarket. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:
* Raising and processing invoices.
* Setting up new supplier bank payments.
* Reviewing and approving staff expenses.
* Acting as the first point of contact for the finance team and supporting with queries.
* Reconciling credit and debit notes, including Tax and VAT compliance.
* Supporting the Office Administrator with weekly payroll processing.
* Assisting with the annual audit process.
* Supporting ad hoc projects as required.
Candidate Profile:
* Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced finance department with minimal supervision.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
