The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Studies Teacher to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and challenge students, while helping them explore key religious, philosophical, and ethical concepts. As an RE teacher, you will play a vital role in encouraging critical thinking, open-mindedness, and respect for diverse beliefs and worldviews.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality RE lessons to students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (GCSE and A-Level).
2. Plan and prepare engaging, thoughtful, and innovative lessons that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all learners.
3. Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, providing regular feedback to support their academic development.
4. Foster an inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable discussing diverse perspectives.
5. Promote respect, tolerance, and understanding of different religions and worldviews.
What We're Looking For:
1. A qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.
3. A passion for religious education and the ability to engage and inspire students.
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
5. Experience teaching RE at GCSE and/or A-Level (desirable but not essential).
6. Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to student behaviour.
