The post holder will be an experienced Radiographer working autonomously, being accountable for your own professional actions. You will supervise, mentor and appraise less experienced CT Radiographers, Apprentices and Students.
The role requires cross-site working across all sites: Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, Heatherwood Elective Centre in Ascot, and the soon-to-be-opened Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC ) in Slough at the site of Upton Hospital.
• A senior Radiographer post working in the CT Department.
• Responsible for supporting the CT Lead Radiographer and deputising in their absence.
• To assist in the training and supervision of the Radiographers and RDAs across the 4 CT scanners at FHFT North and the 2 CT Scanners at the new CDC.
• To ensure equipment is used in a safe and correct manner.
• The post holder will be expected to work at all sites.
• Commitment to shift work over a 7-day period including night shifts.
