University of Oxford Development and Alumni Engagement This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to provide crucial administrative support to the development team of Oxford University’s Social Sciences Division, which is ranked number in the world and is committed to tackling some of the major challenges facing humanity. About the role: Adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities, you will provide administrative and logistical support to the Social Sciences Development team. This will include diary management, database updates and queries, drafting of correspondence, assisting with financial reporting, preparing bespoke reports for donors, processing donor gift agreements and payments, event support, and general administrative duties. We are looking for a candidate who can be on site in the office supporting the team 3-4 days a week, with the opportunity to work remotely 1-2 days. To Be Successful You’ll Need: Strong administrative and systems skills, attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and manage a varied workload are pivotal to the success of this role. You will have proven administrative work experience and be used to working with a number of stakeholders: for this role this will include a wide range of internal colleagues and academic staff, supporters and volunteers of the University, and the general public. With excellent communication skills, a flair for organisation and capability to act on your own initiative you will play a key role in a busy team. Experience of Microsoft Office and CRM systems is vital and prior knowledge of the University’s DARS system is desired.
