About The Role Delivery Manager
Salary - £55,000 to £59,500
Location - Based in Swavesey, Cambridgeshire, with coverage across East Anglia.
As our next Delivery Manager, you'll be at the forefront of client interaction, overseeing projects from conception to completion. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating resources effectively, ensuring timely project delivery within budgetary constraints, and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and quality.
What you'll be doing:
1. Implementing and upholding rigorous HSEQ standards throughout all operations.
2. Liaising with internal departments to address work requests and ensure successful project delivery.
3. Delegating the preparation of risk assessments and method statements for site works, ensuring compliance.
4. Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments as necessary to uphold safety standards.
5. Serving as the primary point of contact for technical queries and escalating issues as required.
6. Managing daily activities, including labour allocation and material procurement.
7. Collaborating to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and KPIs.
8. Providing regular project updates to management and clients, addressing any issues proactively.
9. Fostering relationships with suppliers and overseeing the procurement process.
10. Driving business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
11. Supporting commercial activities, including drafting quotations and participating in contract negotiations.
What will will need from you:
12. Previous experience in fast-paced delivery/project management environments.
13. Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Office programs.
14. Familiarity with various H&S standards.
15. Confident communication skills with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
16. Professional, diplomatic, and assertive demeanour.
17. High motivation with sound judgement and the ability to respond promptly to unforeseen events.
18. Strong decision-making skills with an ethical approach.
19. Understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems (desired not essential).
20. Proficiency in problem-solving and offering sensible solutions.
21. Additionally, you'll need a full valid driving license and the willingness to travel within the UK.
