UPVC Production Supervisor
Due to huge investment and ongoing expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a proven hands-on Production Leader to join an established manufacturer who is experiencing incredible growth. Based out of their Head Office, the ideal Production Manager will lead a production team to effectively increase production volumes by 40% to 60%.

UPVC Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
1. Visibly champion production on site and support continuous improvement.
2. Manage all production resources to ensure efficient production activities while maintaining all Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance requirements and meeting product and process quality specifications.
3. Support the site to ensure all products produced are right first time in line with customer expectations.
4. Ensure that all routine production tasks and objectives are undertaken and completed within agreed time frames.
5. Plan and organise workflows.
6. Oversee and manage the production team labour budget.
7. Accountable for equipment effectiveness, root cause problem solving, and rapid improvement events.
8. Ensure any non-conforming products are rectified in a timely and efficient way.
9. Maintain high levels of housekeeping at all times within the shop floor.
10. Carry out performance reviews for Shift Managers and foster a positive team spirit within the production unit and cross-functionally.
11. Recruit, train, coach, and develop a multi-skilled production team to fabricate uPVC products.
12. Maintain all KPI departmental information and endorse best practice principles in the workplace to achieve output targets.
The working week is 7.30am to 4.30pm.
UPVC Production Supervisor Profile:
1. A successful career as a Production Manager within a high volume production environment.
2. Excellent knowledge of lean Six Sigma practices.
3. Effective leadership of medium teams.
4. Thorough knowledge of IT systems with sound skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
5. Ideally already trained to IOSH Managing Safely with previous experience of carrying out risk assessments in the workplace and documenting safe working procedures.
6. Maintain ISO accreditation.
7. Experience in change management and working in a lean manufacturing environment.
8. HNC/HND or above in an Engineering discipline.
