Key Responsibilities Lead system integrations, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient API usage and data synchronisation. Collaborate with development teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise system performance and reliability. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans to minimise downtime and data loss. Act as the primary liaison between IT, development, operations, and vendors to resolve issues and improve efficiencies. Create and maintain technical documentation, aligning solutions with business objectives. Mentor junior staff and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Participate in Agile processes, utilising tools including Atlassian JIRA for project tracking. Key skills In-depth understanding of system integration methods, APIs, and middleware solutions. Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL. Familiarity with message queuing technologies, including RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, AWS SQS. Expertise in API security and authentication protocols. Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
