What is the Job?
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Culture and Talent team at Andras Hotels. Reporting to the Associate Director – Culture and Talent, as a key member, you will be a join this committed and passionate team. You will be the first point of contact for people queries, providing a comprehensive HR support across all areas of the employee lifecycle. You will work within recruitment, employee relations, performance management, absence management, employee engagement, communication and general HR administration duties. The role will require you to have the capability to influence and negotiate through building and maintaining genuine and positive working relationships at all levels of the organisation and promoting a positive working environment at all times.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels, ensuring a collaborative and supportive workplace culture. You will understand how your role in in areas such as recruitment, employee engagement and performance management, can contribute to the overall success of the organisation. Your day to day
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with all employees and all levels of the management team
* Build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel management teams, the Leadership Team and Directors
* Provide comprehensive guidance, advice and support to managers and staff on employment legislation, best practice, terms and conditions of service
* Be the first point of contact relating to routine people management queries and the application of human resources policies and procedures to employees and managers, including absence management, conduct and capability, grievance, and organisational change
* To advise and support managers in dealing with employee relations issues including, but not limited to, investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability, flexible working, attendance management and health and well-being issues
* Assist the hotel management with the full life cycle of recruitment for all hotel positions from job advertising, screening, interview to final offer stage, issuing of contracts and onboarding
* Attend recruitment fairs, networking events, visits to schools, colleges and universities
* Be the company expert on SeeMeHired
* To run weekly and monthly reports and analyse data relating to training, absence management, employee turnover, and visa status
* Proactively use people data to analyse trends
* Conduct visa and file audit to ensure all employee documents are maintained and updated according to the local legislations
* Ensure full compliance with all Right to Work legislation and keep track of expiry dates
* Work with the HR and Training Officer assisting with the training requirements and development of all employees
* Be the company expert on FLOW
* Work closely with the Culture and Talent team, management and employees to devise, communicate and lead on employee engagement initiatives to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
* Monitor absence data in line with policy and escalate appropriately
* Support the proactive management of health and wellbeing, working with the Associate Director - Culture and Talent to draft and request Occupational Health or GP reports
* Advise and assist managers in long term absence cases
* Assist in dealing with the disciplinary and grievance processes, including note taking
* Provide support to managers in all performance management issues including the appraisal process
* Monitor completion and quality of appraisals
* Keep all fundamental departmental trackers and reports up to date
* Assist in resolving employee relations matters, escalating when necessary to the Associate Director – Culture and Talent\To maintain and update Human Resources Information Systems
* Maintenance and security of all filing systems and correspondence both computerised and manual, in line with Data Protection Regulations
* Undertake audits/reviews of HRIS ensuring the information is accurate and up to date
* Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets and documents
* To assist with administration of Exit documentation and interviews of all leavers and prepare reports on this matter
* Participate on the process of sending onboarding surveys, exit interviews annual employee surveys and work with Associate Director to prepare communication aids for the group and create associated action plans
* Coordinate internal communication initiatives to enhance the business/Andras culture
* Preparation of monthly company newsletter
* Assist in completion of equality monitoring and submission of reports to the Equality Commission
* To assist all employees with administration related Human Resources requests, i.e. issuing reference and bank letters, complete official forms and documentation on request
* Any other duties relevant and related to the position.

Desired Criteria
* Previous experience in the role of People and Culture / Culture and Talent / HR Officer
* Qualification in Human Resources or CIPD qualification
* Experience with HRIS
* Experience within the hospitality industry
* Experience of completing Article 55 return
Required Criteria
* Previous experience within a HR role in a busy HR Department, to include Recruitment and Employee Relations
* Have an awareness of principles of HR processes and legislation
* Have excellent organisational and time management skills
* Have excellent computer skills and competent in using Microsoft Office
* Have excellent oral and written communication skills
* Have the ability to adapt to the different needs of any colleague queries
* Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
