As the Change Controller, you are directly accountable for the oversight of all approved changes and take ownership.
You will be a central point of engagement within Santander, embedded within the Command Centre reporting into a Shift Manager to ensure we continue to support production processes through Change and Incident Management.

1. Ensuring Change Governance is upheld
2. Emergency Change Scheduling and Approval – inclusive of attendance to Change Boards
3. Central Communication point with the ability to provide a Live status update
4. Ability to Pause all changes in coordination with the Incident Manager
5. Commander for high profile changes inclusive of joining planning sessions to ensure milestones are being met
6. Embedded into the Command Centre processes for Peace times. (Event Management), inclusive of Implementing Maintenance windows
What you’ll bring
1. Risk Governance experience
2. Capability to work independently with an analytical approach and dynamic thinking
3. Understanding of Technical and Service Logical flows
4. Capacity to communicate clearly and concisely with Senior Management
5. Ability to take ownership of situations and manage them through to conclusion
6. Agile Fundamentals - including understanding of Cloud technologies and continuous deployment lifecycle
It would also be nice for you to have
1. Previous Change Management experience
2. A sound operations environment understanding (Major incident, Event Management, and Analytics)
3. ITIL Change Management
4. Previous Banking experience

This role is based at Unity Place, Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 3 days in the office every week.
This role is a shift-based role in a department that continues to evolve.
1. Shift allowance of 15% in addition to basic salary capped at £5k
2. Shift Pattern is on a 4-week cycle, shifts are 8am – 8pm Days and 8pm – 8am Nights
3. Shifts are 4 days and 4 nights then off then repeating

1st Stage – Technical Interview – this will be a 30-min technical interview with one of the team.
2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions. This can be done virtually or face to face depending on your situation.
