What you will be doing: Reporting directly to the Head of Finance & Reporting the role is to assist in the preparation of accurate management accounts to ensure they are prepared on a timely basis for SpaMedica, in line with the agreed company/group timetable and to the highest governance and professional standards. Performance of regular daily and monthly accounting processes, including control account, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations with detailed variance commentary. Posting of regular journals such as stock, wages, accruals, prepayments etc. Assist in the accurate closing of all ledgers with robust checks, AP, AR, FA. Monitoring of aged debtors (liaising with credit control) and creditors on a weekly basis. Assist in the preparation of any ad hoc reports for external & internal purposes. Assist with the updating of budgets and forecasts with actuals and create analysis packs. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual corporate reporting packages. Support/liaise with internal and external auditors. Assist the Commercial Finance team with the provision of financial analysis and data where required.
