Main Responsibilities
* Carry out duties in line with the company's policies and procedures.
* Undertake and maintain the duties of a SRSW, providing consistency amongst the staff team.
* Promote structure, boundaries, and domestic routines within the home.
* Work in line with children and young people’s care and placement plans.
* Promote positive outcomes for children and young people in areas of staying safe, being healthy, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution, and achieving economic wellbeing.
* Work in accordance with the Quality Standards.
* Co-operate with inspection processes including Ofsted inspections and Reg 44 Visits.
* Provide a positive role model for the young people, presenting yourself in a highly professional manner and maintaining professional boundaries.
* Work in partnership with agencies to the benefit of the young people.
* Participate in, and complete reports for, statutory reviews and meetings concerning the young people.
* Undertake relevant training programmes in line with National Minimum Care Standards.
* Ensure that your own vehicle is roadworthy, taxed, MOT'd, and that you have valid business insurance should you use your car for business purposes.
* Complete and maintain administrative records as required by the home, including all daily, weekly, and monthly documents.
* Attend and participate in supervision and staff meetings as required.
* Support key workers within their role, ensuring all children and young people’s relevant plans are consistent and maintained.
