Job Overview
We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in a home care setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those under their care.
Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
* Support clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
* Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate records and update care plans as needed
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare providers
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation and light cleaning
Skills
* Experience in home care or care home settings is desirable
* Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping
* Valid driving license for transportation purposes
* Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
* Ability to follow care plans accurately and compassionately
* Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families
