How you'll make a differenceWorking within a friendly and established team, you will be responsible for providing efficient, responsive and high-quality administration to the Place department.You will make a difference by ensuring that all departments ordering and invoice processes are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. What you will be doingActing as the main point of contact for customers, you will answer enquiries and information requests. At times, this may include dealing with challenging or difficult situations and unhappy customers. If their queries aren’t easily answered, you will escalate these for resolutions. Daily, you will undertake relevant administration tasks such as raising invoices, purchase orders, chasing unpaid invoices, support in the organisation of and assist with the delivery of planning appeals, maintaining budgetary control records and the committee process.It will be key for you to collect information, maintain accurate records, prepare documents and other materials using established formats, software and procedures. What we need from youIt is essential that you have three GCSE passes at grade C (grade 4) including English and maths, or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience in a similar administration role.Given the nature of the role, you will have strong customer service skills and the ability to interact in an effective and efficient way.We require you to have a good knowledge of IT with experience of different Office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.You will have good literacy skills including attention to detail and be confident in writing letters and providing information for reports.
