We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Teacher of Computer Science to join a friendly, professional and high-achieving Computer Science department in Bradford. Whilst this role is to start September 2025, there may be the opportunity for an earlier start date.

Teaching up to and including GCSE with the potential for A level teaching, you will be committed to passing on your expertise of the subject as well as promoting and maintaining the high standards of achievement of the pupils.
All students study Computer Science between Years 7-9, focusing on the knowledge and application of three strands: Programming, Computer Theory and Digital Literacy. Students explore topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Web Technologies, Animation, Python Programming and Game Development.

Requirements:
* Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
* Have successful teaching experience at secondary level (can be teaching practice), ideally including experience in multi-ethnic urban schools and of working in an 11-18 school
* Understand the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning
* Understand the importance of high expectations and equality of access for all students, and of being a tutor
* Have knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4, and of writing lesson plans, developing resources and assessing students' work
