Team Leader—Living at Home

We are seeking a highly flexible and dependable Team Leader to assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of our growing care company. This role requires someone who can provide immediate support as needed, stepping in at a moment's notice to ensure the smooth running of operations and care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 50% support in compliance tasks, such as audits, staff supervisions, spot checks, and care plan updates.
* Deliver 50% hands-on care to clients, ensuring high standards of personal care and well-being.
* Be on call and ready to respond to any operational or care needs, including covering shifts and responding to emergencies, with little to no notice. Flexibility is essential, as you must be available to support the Registered Manager at a moment's notice.
* Handle the on-call phone (6 a.m. to 11 p.m.) as part of the role, ensuring backup support outside of regular working hours whenever required.
* Have full availability from Monday to Sunday, with the ability to cover shifts at short notice (between 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.), including on weekends and holidays.
* Act as a reliable and consistent support system for the Registered Manager, ready to adapt to the fast-paced, dynamic needs of the business.
* Ensure all care services meet CIW regulatory standards and promote high-quality care across the team.
* Mentor and guide care staff, promoting best practices and high standards in care delivery.
* Assist with staff development, including training, shadowing, and performance reviews.
Key Requirements:
* A minimum Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (required).
* Full availability from Monday to Sunday, ready to support at a moment's notice, with no restrictions on when you can work (required).
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required).
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to act quickly and manage unforeseen challenges (required).
* Proficient in IT for managing care systems, completing reports, and using software relevant to compliance and communication (required).
* Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the business, ensuring that both the care delivery and operational aspects are consistently supported (required).

Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum two years of experience in a health and social care setting.

* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (required).
