About the Role: MGOMD are looking for an experienced media professional to join our passionate Client Team, which sits at the heart of the MG OMD Government Media department. The Client Team are responsible for delivering best-in-class client servicing and account management across a wide base of clients. We ensure that each campaign runs smoothly and seamlessly from the point of briefing through to measurement & evaluation. This role sees the CAM collaborating with every team within OmniGOV, from implementational planning through to media channel specialists and effectiveness managers, to project manage the delivery of a campaign effectively. We are responsible for understanding the client’s strategic objectives and identifying how media buying will be approached to improve outcomes, forming strong business partnerships with them. Government clients are grouped into 5 multidisciplinary hubs, based on comparable campaign themes and departmental goals including Infrastructure, Communities & Safety (ICS), Health, Recruitment, Central & Economy, and International. Each hub is represented by specialists from the four teams within the department, including account management, effectiveness, and implementational planning. The successful candidate would have the amazing opportunity to be working predominantly across the Infrastructure, Communities & Safety (ICS) hub; this has some of the most varied briefs across Government and allows us to add value through creative thinking, inclusive planning and effective measurement. Departments include the Home Office, Department for Transport, Sport England, Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government, and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport. Going forward we are delving further into ethics, attention, and behaviour change to understand the complexities of how to drive better outcomes. About You: Project manage a selection of high-profile ICS campaigns, ensure team deadlines are met, and take ownership of the quality of all work. Develop strong relationships with all specialist teams and other members of the hub (e.g. implementational planning and effectiveness managers) to ensure effective working processes. Develop a deep understanding of OmniGOV processes and help ensure our ways of working are properly implemented and upheld. Look for opportunities to go above and beyond, suggesting improvements to current processes and ways of working so that we continuously improve. Be the main point of contact for clients & third-party stakeholders like planning & creative agencies and build valuable trust-based relationships with them. Run day-to-day client meetings, be able to positively & confidently challenge clients & agencies. Be able to work with media owners to develop unique opportunities for clients. Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business. Be interested, proactively seek out and read about the client’s sector. Use a deeper understanding of client's business and your expertise to develop strong relationships at senior client level, maintaining regular contact.
