Job Summary
The Sustainability Associate will play a key role in supporting Sweeptech’s sustainability goals by analyzing and reporting on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives both internally and externally. This position requires a data-driven individual capable of working across departments to assess the company’s ESG performance while effectively communicating these improvements to customers, highlighting the sustainability benefits we deliver. The right candidate will receive support through sponsorship for an MSc in Sustainability, enabling professional and educational growth in the field.
Key Responsibilities
* ESG Analysis
* Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to ESG initiatives within Sweeptech.
* Develop and maintain metrics to track sustainability progress and areas for improvement.
* Conduct comparative analyses to ensure Sweeptech is meeting or exceeding industry standards in ESG performance.
* Sustainability Reporting
* Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on sustainability outcomes for customer engagement.
* Communicate the positive impacts of Sweeptech’s sustainability initiatives in clear and compelling terms.
* Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to translate complex data into customer-facing materials that showcase the environmental benefits of Sweeptech's services.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with various departments to gather relevant data and insights to support ESG objectives.
* Collaborate on projects that promote Sweeptech’s environmental leadership and align with our commitment to innovation.
* Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as a liaison between Sweeptech and its customers to respond to inquiries related to sustainability metrics and improvements.
* Represent Sweeptech’s sustainability achievements and values to stakeholders in presentations, reports, and meetings.
Requirements
* Educational Background
* Bachelor’s degree (BA or BSc) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
* Commitment to pursuing an MSc in Sustainability, for which Sweeptech will provide sponsorship.
* Skills and Experience
* Proven analytical skills with experience in data collection and interpretation, particularly within an ESG or sustainability context.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively report and communicate sustainability metrics and improvements to both internal teams and customers.
* An understanding of ESG standards, sustainability reporting frameworks, and industry best practices.
