We are looking to recruit an Engineering Stores Lead, who will be charged with implementing and co-ordinating the inventory management system processes to meet agreed customer service levels, but also ensuring spares are ascertained at cost effective price points.
This role will also include the responsibility of scheduling maintenance plans, reviewing maintenance activities and where possible identifying areas to improve cost effectiveness.
Responsibilities of the Engineering Stores Lead:
Keeping abreast of and reporting the stores performance through the CMMS. This will include turnover and accuracy of stock levels.
Completion of full stock counts and regular cycle counts.
Improve the engineering spares holding aligned with inventory management.
Using the company CMMS manage materials and spares.
Make recommendations to improve the minimum and maximum order points.
Take an active approach to delivering cost effective inventory solutions.
Ensure the accuracy of all purchase request information.
What we are looking for in the Engineering Stores Lead:
Experience with 5Sstandards.
Proficient in the use of SAP.
A multi-skilled engineering background.
Previous experience using a CMMS system.
Flexible to provide support to cover colleagues when needed.
