Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Wickford Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in English and Maths GCSE subjects Create individualised lesson plans based on students' learning needs and abilities Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Encourage student engagement and participation in the learning process Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practises Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Proficient in using technology to enhance learning experiences Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience working with students with specific learning difficulties Working Conditions: Work in a classroom or home setting Full-time hours, temporary position Potential for remote teaching depending on school policies All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
