Job responsibilities Community outreach and campaigns: Provide an outreach service for identified at-risk groups at various lcations in the community including schools and clinics Encourage under 25s to participate in the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) by testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea Increase referrals into sexual health services from non-clinical settings To promote and participate in an effective community based C Card scheme Support the delivery of C Card training to professionals and provide ongoing support to professionals Encourage identified at-risk groups including men who have sex with men and Black Africans to use condoms and encourage to order a full STI testing kit online Provide information, advice and appropriate material at various campaigns throughout the year including World AIDS Day and 6th form campaigns in schools To provide face to face support in a community setting and targeted sexual health promotion to diverse groups Ensure any data/forms are submitted for inputting by yourself or support team Provide information on and promote Kings Sexual Health Service and other relevant services to target groups and relevant agencies, using media appropriate to the audience Condom distribution schemes Proactively build partnerships with condom distribution scheme outlets Encourage new outlets to join condom scheme Distribute condoms to existing outlets Collect and maintain patient data from outlets Relationship and Sex E ducation (RSE) delivery To deliver a programme of Bitesize Community Based RSE Sessions Deliver RSE to young people in the borough at a variety of locations including schools, youth clubs, pupil referral units and hostels Deliver RSE sessions to 6th form pupils as part of annual campaigns Deliver RSE sessions to young people with special educational needs Ensure evaluation forms are completed by all attendees of RSE sessions in the community
