Responsibilities
Make an impact by managing and leading a team of multidiscipline engineers, delivering all aspects of the engineering service within KPI guidelines. Deputise for the Engineering Manager as required. Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the team of Resident Engineers through effective planning and organisation. As Engineering Team Leader, represent Swisslog in a professional manner and ensure all work meets the Service Level Agreement for the customer. Conduct performance management reviews; coach and mentor your team; be a positive role model and understand your team's strengths and weaknesses. Analyze and lead under high pressure and during difficult situations. Ensure the company’s and customers’ safety regulations are followed at all times. Prepare and participate in method statements, risk assessments, and client user and maintenance documentation. Drive continuous improvement on site with your team and comply with Health and Safety legislation.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed:
1. Previous experience in an Engineering Team Leader role is essential.
2. An Apprentice trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, with a minimum Level 3 Qualification.
3. Experience of working with automation is essential for this role.
4. Able to work at heights.
5. This is a customer-facing role, so effective communication at all levels is required.
6. Able to adapt to new and changing demands and situations.
7. Able to share knowledge with others proactively and always show integrity.
