The setting is a school that caters to children between the ages of 3 and 11 who have been excluded from mainstream education. These children have barriers to their learning and mental and emotional needs that make it difficult for them to concentrate.
The specialist school is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to support their students in following through with their interventions, ensuring the classroom is an engaging place conducive to learning, and providing feedback to their teachers and therapy support teams.
