Hays are partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit a temporary HR Policy Officer who will be responsible for reviewing, developing, and implementing HR policies.
Your new role
* Ensure current HR policies are legally compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Review and update existing HR policies to ensure they are reflecting current practice and are aligned with organisational goals.
* Identify opportunities for improving HR policies and processes.
* Develop new policies as required.
* Engage with colleagues and Trade Union to incorporate feedback into policy development.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HR policies and procedures.
* Provide advice and guidance to Senior Leadership Team, managers and colleagues on matters relating to HR policy and procedure.
What you'll need to succeed
* 2 years’ experience in a similar HR policy role.
* Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, employment law, and best practice.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
