Role: Admin Assistant
Location: Heysham
Pay rate: £19.80 per hour
Hours: 24 hours per week, Office based
Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers, is looking for an Admin Assistant to join their training team to support routine activities associated with compliance and a systematic approach to training for the various training committees on-site at a Power Station in Heysham. As an Admin Assistant, you will support the training team with booking students onto initial training and other administrative duties.
Main Tasks / Duties Responsibilities
1. Admin Support (including training committees)
2. Accountability and management reporting
3. Learning Centre facilitator
4. Co-ordinate Programmes
Technical Competencies
1. Routine activities within PMIS (toolkit and Core) and Learning Management
2. Support the training team with routine activities associated with compliance and the systematic approach to training (SAT) for the various Training Committees.
Role Responsibilities
1. Setting up training events
2. Inputting group training sheets
3. Updating Personal development records
4. Updating contractor details and entering data onto the systems
5. Scheduling meetings and taking minutes, circulating minutes of meetings to committee members
6. Producing reports as required by the training department when requested
7. Co-ordinating student bookings and enrolments, overseeing students through their training
8. Using effective communication skills when liaising with members of the training department and customers on behalf of the training function.
Experience and Skills
1. Good Communication Skills, both written and verbal.
2. Strong IT Skills and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
3. Time management and organisational skills, able to prioritise workload
4. Attention to Detail
