About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with admissions experience to join our dynamic school team. This permanent role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our admissions process and providing vital support to the school’s administration. You will be a key point of contact for parents, staff, and external stakeholders, helping to maintain an exceptional standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Admissions Coordination:
o Manage the admissions process from enquiry to enrollment, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective families.
o Maintain accurate records of all admissions data using school systems.
o Support the organization of open days, tours, and induction events.
2. Administrative Support:
o Provide general administrative assistance, including handling correspondence, managing calendars, and preparing documents.
o Maintain student records, ensuring compliance with school policies and data protection regulations.
o Liaise with staff and external agencies to support the effective running of the school office.
3. Customer Service:
o Act as the first point of contact for admissions enquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
o Build positive relationships with prospective families, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported throughout the admissions journey.
o Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a school admissions or administrative role.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with parents, students, and staff.
* Proficiency in administrative systems (e.g., SIMS, PowerSchool) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS (required)
* Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
* Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
