Do you want to take a lead in Health and Safety? Do you want to work within a multi-disciplinary environment, with genuine scope for progression? Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious Associate Health & Safety Construction Consultant. This role will see you joining our national H&S Advisory team, working from one of our flourishing offices in the North.
As an Associate, you will be responsible for managing and growing the region, with the support from our Director. You will work on a wide variety of projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering Principal Designer and CDM services. This role will see you take the lead for regional Business Development (BD) and project delivery. Through establishing a network both internally and externally, working with the multi-discipline and BD teams in the region, it is expected this role will lead on projects, fee proposals, and client engagement. This will also require the tracking of resource and project performance reporting back to the Director with a plan of where resource is required and assist in formalising a pipeline of work. Overall this role requires a high level of technical knowledge to deliver projects combined with a sound business acumen as well as astute commercial awareness. About You
Our ideal Associate Health and Safety Consultant must have:
* NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety preferred (or equivalent) and membership of a professional body (CMaPs, Technician IOSH)
* Comprehensive knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015
It would be nice for you to have:
* Self-motivated and ability to motivate and manage teams and address difficult elements of projects
* The ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
* Excellent organisational, communication, writing, and presentation skills
