Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: Newcastle, England Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85.00 - £95.00 per day Benefits: PAYE Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Skills Required SEN support Reading and writing support Behavioural management Classroom management Knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum Job Duties Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing student behaviour Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN) Offer reading and writing support to students who require additional assistance Support the teacher in maintaining classroom discipline and encouraging positive behaviour Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources Supervise students during break times and off-site activities Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher Collaborate with other teaching assistants and school staff to create a supportive learning environment Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required Required Qualifications Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience Prior experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or similar role Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) Knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum Knowledge and Skills Strong understanding of SEN support strategies Proficient in providing reading and writing support Excellent behavioural management skills Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment Familiarity with KS1 and KS2 curriculum Preferred Qualifications Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) support Training in behaviour management techniques Working Conditions Temporary position with full-time hours Work within a school setting Collaborative work environment Regular interaction with students, teachers, and other school staff Please applt with CV.
