Job Title: Operational Support
Working Model / Location: Ellesmere Port / On-Site
Salary + Benefits: 26,000 - 28,000
Sector: FMCG Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Demand Planning Manager to analyze market trends, sales data, and customer forecasts to produce accurate demand plans.
2. Assist in creating and maintaining demand forecasts for multiple products across various regions and sales channels.
3. Monitor and update inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, minimizing overstock or stockout scenarios.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and production) to align demand forecasts with business needs and promotional activities.
5. Support in identifying potential supply chain risks and working proactively to mitigate them.
6. Assist with reporting and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement in the demand planning process.
7. Manage communication with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely product availability.
8. Support the integration of new systems and demand planning tools where required.
9. Creating BOM's (Bill of Materials).
About You:
1. Previous experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related role within the FMCG sector is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
5. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or demand planning software is a plus.
6. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
