Gourmet Society, Merlin Attractions)\n\nThe Role:\n\nWe are looking for a Credit Hire File Handler who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and has a strong understanding of credit hire. In this role, you will be responsible for the tactical and strategic handling of complex credit hire claims, carrying out in-depth investigations on files submitted by specific opponents. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your experience in the credit hire field and contribute to reducing overall insurer spend.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nIndependently manage a caseload of pre-litigated credit hire claims (up to £25,000 in value)\nFollow pre-agreed strategies and maintain compliance with internal workflows\nEngage in telephone negotiations with third parties and solicitors\nReview and analyse evidence, assessing the liability and quantum of claims\nLiaise with clients and colleagues in a professional and efficient manner\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date file records using a Case Management System\n\nWorking Hours:\n\nMonday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)\n35 hours per week\nHybrid model - 1 day in-office, 4 days from home\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nExperience, Skills & Qualifications:\n\nExperience handling Credit Hire files and managing your own caseload\nMinimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) - a degree or LPC is desirable\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent planning, prioritisation and organisational ability\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and ideally, experience using a Case Management System\nAbility to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions\nDemonstrated use of initiative and tact in sensitive situations\nAt least 12 months' experience in a credit hire environment is essential\n\nTechnical Knowledge To Be Developed:\n\nPre-proceedings credit hire knowledge\nFull file lifecycle management\nCommon law and litigation principles\nUnderstanding of legal costs and protective offers\nPreparing a file for litigation\n\nPersonal Development Opportunities:\n\nDevelop a range of legal and negotiation skills under supervision\nFuture progression into litigated fast-track, fraud, or multi-track teams\nLeadership development pathways including Deputy and Team Leader roles\n\nCore Competencies:\n\nEffective communication\nOrganisation and time management\nClient relationship skills\nAdaptability and resilience\nCommercial awareness\nDrive to achieve results\nTeam collaboration and people skills\nIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a real impact in the credit hire space, Time Recruitment would love to hear from you
