As we grow, this is your chance to play a pivotal role in developing and embedding the Behaviour Policy for a brand-new campus. If you're ready to make a lasting impact, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!
As the Behaviour Lead Teacher, you’ll have whole-campus responsibility for managing behaviour strategies, ensuring all students are supported to overcome barriers to learning. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and reviewing the Behaviour Policy for the Minster Campus, ensuring it's inclusive, clear, and effective.
* Implementing and embedding strategies that reduce stress, anxiety, and behavioural barriers to learning.
* Monitoring and problem-solving behaviour triggers, identifying effective interventions for individuals and groups.
* Collaborating with stakeholders, including class teams, families, and the wider community, to provide holistic support for students with varying needs.
* Providing guidance and training for staff on behaviour management techniques and best practices.
* Engaging with families, through home visits, coffee mornings, and as part of the school’s inclusion and pastoral teams.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for an experienced professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and make a real impact. If you have a proven track record in behaviour management and are passionate about creating a positive learning environment, we want to hear from you! This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new team and take on a leadership role in shaping the behaviour strategy at our Minster Campus.
* A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application in school settings.
* Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff, fostering a supportive, inclusive environment.
* Experience working with students facing behavioural or anxiety challenges, with a commitment to promoting their well-being and helping them reach their full potential.
This is a permanent, full-time position, offering MPS/UPS based on experience + TLR2B + SEN1 Allowance.
