Main duties of the job
The aim of a Support Worker is to deliver person-centred support to clients who are on a journey to recovery and who live in our Supported Housing service. Working in a psychologically, adversity, and trauma-informed way.

Job Description
Job responsibilities
Holding a caseload of clients who you meet 1:1 at least weekly
Developing and facilitating groups and activities for clients
Developing support plans and working creatively with clients to support them to meet their goals
Maintaining detailed case notes
Helping clients to develop skills to move towards independent living
Helping clients to maximise their income
Championing hope and courage
Responding to incidents and ensuring diligent reporting
Promoting the safety and wellbeing of clients
Person Specification
Experience Essential
* A minimum of one year’s experience of working with people with mental health needs
* Experience of supporting people with multiple needs (e.g., mental health, homelessness, alcohol/drug dependency, rough sleeping)
* Experience of assessing/managing risk and/or support planning
Desirable
* Experience of working within a housing and support agency
* Experience of mental health issues and/or services, either as a user, carer, or supporter.
