Job Title: Construction Planner | Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE | Location: York We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in York as a Construction Planner. The successful candidate will provide professional construction programming support to the business to win and deliver building solutions within our Project Delivery team. Role Responsibilities: Develop a fully integrated, linked programme to support work winning activities and live projects. Attend tender interviews where required to discuss and demonstrate proposed build programmes. Assist the Buying Team to develop sub-contract enquiry documentation and procurement programmes. Carry out site visits to monitor and report progress of construction programmes when required. Interrogate progress information supplied to ensure that progress is reported accurately and with reference to the contract. Analyse critical paths and key milestones and advise Project Managers of any risks, opportunities and any mitigation strategies to maintain the project completion date. Collate and maintain accurate progress outputs and feed information back to the business for future work prospects. As a Construction Planner you will have: Tier 1 construction experience with exceptional understanding of project lifecycle and the ability to produce programmes for bids, tender and delivery is essential. If you have previously worked in a project manager role in the construction industry and are interested in moving into programming this could be the role for you. You'll need to be an experienced team player willing to challenge at times. A driving license is essential for this role as there will be some requirement to travel to our sites across the UK. You'll be experienced in working in a fast paced environment and able to prioritise tasks. Why Portakabin?
