The Role:
You will work closely with the Inbound team with key administrative tasks, supplier coordination, and logistics management. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining efficient operations, and ensuring timely order delivery, while also supporting the Merchandise Planning Manager to oversee and develop the reporting, planning and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Raise initial and repeat orders, confirming details with suppliers.
2. Track and prioritise purchase orders, ensuring timely release to customers.
3. Ensure on-time order deliveries, taking action when required.
4. Build strong relationships with the Logistics Warehouse to align on business priorities.
5. Maintain accurate stock reports and data entry.
6. Manage and monitor the Product Division planning and forecasting process with the Merchandise Planning Manager.
7. Produce key performance indicator reports and prepare ad hoc reports as required.
8. Analyse current systems, propose changes and support implementation for improved efficiency.
9. Coach and train colleagues on reporting and system improvements.
10. Deliver meaningful data analysis to drive business performance.
11. Be a proactive problem-solver who can challenge and improve existing processes.
Skills & Experience:
1. Highly analytical with strong numerical reasoning.
2. Advanced MS Excel skills are essential.
3. Previous experience in a Merchandising or Commercial role with strong commercial awareness.
4. Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
