How you'll make a difference
As an Administrator/ Note Taker you will be providing vital support to our Safeguarding Adults team to allow us all to deliver the best possible services for local people. You will be responsible for arranging meetings, taking minutes and notes at confidential and sensitive meetings, and distributing them.
You will be part of a small, experienced team, who are friendly and welcoming and training, and support will be given.
What you will be doing
* Daily, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and preparing and arranging Adult Safeguarding meetings.
* It will be key for you to attend meetings either virtually or in person at venues across South Gloucestershire and provide note taking, making sure they are clear and accurate.
* You will accurately record information into the central computerised system and distribute minutes.
* We require you to monitor and prioritise the flow of incoming work via either a shared mailbox or internal computerised system and ensure documentation is correct and input accurately.
What we need from you
* It is essential that you hold an NVQ 2 or three GCSE passes at grade C (grade 4) or above or hold an equivalent qualification or have experience in office administration.
* Given the nature of this role, you will have the ability to take and type up accurate minutes of meetings, with the skill to format documents to a high standard using Microsoft Office and maintaining computerised record systems.
* We require you to be able to prioritise your own workload, able to work on your own initiative and meet deadlines.
* You will have good communication skills and experience of working within a fast-paced environment.
What you need to know
* This role is hybrid, with a mixture of working at our office and at home.
* You will be expected to travel to other offices so you must have a full, valid driving licence with regular access to a vehicle or have an alternative means of travel.
