Interim Finance Director (Hybrid) job with our client based in Central Scotland.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the reporting of the company’s financial accounts and reporting
* Providing advice and guidance on financial strategy for the business
* Controlling the preparation of the annual budget and ongoing monitoring
* Ensuring management accounts and commercial reports are prepared in line with reporting requirements
* Monitoring and reporting on business performance to the Board
* Cashflow management and optimisation of working capital
* Overseeing all statutory reporting and annual accounts, and liaising with external auditors
* Preparing bids and contract tenders
* Managing and reporting to internal and external key stakeholders
* Supporting new business propositions and innovations with financial planning and organisation
* Leading and managing a broad team of circa 15 team members through 4 direct reports covering Finance, Business Support, IT and Capital
To apply, you will be a fully qualified accountant and experienced finance leader having worked as a Finance Director, Head of Finance or Director of Corporate Services previously. A background in the Social Care sector and/or commercial property skills would be advantageous. This role will typically require 2 days working in the office each week and is a hands-on FD role. Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
