Your new role
Joining as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer your main responsibilities will be to ensure the site is maintained at a high standard by completing both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive maintenance in both house blocks and office type buildings on the below:
* Heating and ventilation
* Plumbing
* Air conditioning
* Drainage
* Hot & Cold water systems
Other responsibilities will include ensuring SHE standards are maintained and liaising with engineers and subcontractors and ensuring compliance is up-to-date for maintenance and project work. Additionally, you will investigate and report in detail on infrastructure shortfalls, problems and incidents, recommending options for remedial actions.
Please be aware this site is a 24-hour, 365-day operation and the expectation is that the engineering team will work to a shift rota pattern and offer out-of-hours call-out functions.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should possess one of the following certificates: Apprenticeship or equivalent, IOSH or equivalent, C&G/BTEC Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineering Parts 1, 2, and 3, NVQ with multi-skilled engineering Level 3, C&G 2079 F Gas or equivalent, HVAC or gas equivalent, or C&G 2391/2 18th edition IEE regulations.
