Job description
A well known public sector organisation based in London is seeking to recruit a SAP Payroll Solution Lead to work on the full lifecycle of providing expert guidance on the implementation, configuration, deployment and maintenance of the SAP Employee Central Payroll module.
The role of the SAP Payroll Solution Lead is to understand the business requirements that have been identified and ensure these requirements are met in the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solutions that provide an integrated approach for the organisation. This includes deploying the SAP ECP solution, solving complex problems and actively leading the technical vision to success.
You will have a track record as an SAP Consultant and be particularly familiar with the SAP ECP module.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the implementation, configuration, deployment and maintenance of the SAP Employee Central Payroll module.
Deliver effective payroll solutions to optimize processes, enhance accuracy, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, to ensure requirements and functional specifications are met, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and current payroll processes.
Analyse and evaluate existing payroll systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure the organisation 'adopts not adapts' SAP Payroll standard processes to meet business requirements.
Conduct system testing, identify issues, and recommend appropriate solutions or enhancements.
Provide end-user training and support during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues, investigating root causes and implementing preventive measures.
Stay updated with SAP Payroll module functionality, new releases, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP Payroll with other modules, such as HR, finance, and time management.
