Location: Lowton, near to Wigan/Warrington, WA3 2AN (Candidate must live within a commutable distance of the office as they will be predominantly based on-site). There will however, on occasion, as part of the role, be UK, European and International travel.

About the role
* It is essentially a hybrid role combining sales with engineering. We offer value add to our customers so technical ability is a must but you need that skillset combined with an enthusiastic sales approach.
* You will develop new customers along with driving new business with our existing customer base.
* You will be involved in the full lifecycle, from customer feasibility, product appraisal and improvement, through to sales engagement, followed by on-going support.
* You will be involved in new product development, working with both the client and the Luxshare factory teams.
* Source, develop and establish new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions.
* You will be working in Consumer Electronics, Automotive and Telecom markets.
* The role will involve new account creation and management. The role requires engineering knowledge and experience. You will be working on complex projects, so project management skills are an absolute necessity. The role is diverse and exciting due to the numerous markets Luxshare is engaged in and product range they can offer.
* Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
* Effective marketing of the extensive product portfolio within Luxshare to both new and existing customers to maximise our full sales potential.
* Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product not only meets client needs but exceeds their current product range.
Essential Skills for the Sales Engineer are
* Degree in Engineering or a Business-related equivalent.
* Proven Sales and/or Marketing experience, combined with engineering, preferably electronics.
* Strong organisational skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment are essential.
* Excellent project management skills from initial enquiry through to new contract.
* Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships.
* Understanding of sales principles and an enthusiasm to embrace a career in business development.
* Computer literate, Microsoft Windows, Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* UK full driving licence.
Desirable Skills for the Sales Engineer are
* Understanding of the consumer goods industry and the components used.
* High degree of professionalism in customer service.
* Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude.
* Tenacious attitude when trying to win new business.
