In this role, you will maintain Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) UK’s in country pilot plant to be in compliance with GSK’s Global Engineering Standards and policies, along with improving EHS standards by working with SMEs, EHS department, and equipment owners to assess and implement actions to close any gaps. In conjunction with pilot plant leadership, you will perform walkthroughs of the pilot plant to ensure the facility is ‘ready now’ at all times for EHS&S and Engineering audits. You will also work with personnel from other sites and with GSC/RDES (where applicable) to learn and establish best practices to address any gaps and identified Engineering Alerts, steering future updates and becoming the “go to person” for engineering compliance. Additionally, you will oversee ongoing capital projects (& Automation projects) within the Pilot Plant maintaining compliance and managing commissioning activities. In this role you will… Lead’s Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) UK pilot plant reviews and response to GSK’s Engineering Standards and Policies and EHS Standards and EHS&S audits. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of engineering standards and requirements across the R&D portfolio. Provide technical guidance and training to engineers and other staff on engineering standards and best practices. Manage the response to Pilot Plant Engineering Alerts. Maintain and manage dashboards & data requirements for capital projects. Contribute & front CSC UK pilot plant EHS & Engineering reviews Collaborate with teams in GSK globally to ensure that all Engineering Standards are covered terms of technical expertise. Take on the responsibility to be a Global CSC technical expert for one or more Engineering Standards Why you? Basic Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: BS is engineering or science related field. Extensive experience working in a pharmaceutical plant, or equivalent. In depth working knowledge of the pharmaceutical process and the safety and compliance requirements for equipment and systems used in it. Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
